Job Descrtiption
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Analyst to join our team. As our first Data Analyst, you will play a leading role in cleaning, organizing, and leveraging our data to help us make Data-informed decisions. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data analysis and timber. Your goal will be to build up tools and reports to power our marketplace by leveraging sourcing, pricing, financial and operational data.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data from diverse sources including databases, spreadsheets, surveys, and other repositories.

  • Clean and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.

  • Utilize statistical methods, data visualization tools, and programming languages such as BigQuery, Tableau, Hex, Python, R, or SQL for in-depth data analysis.

  • Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within data sets to inform strategic business decisions.

  • Work in close collaboration with the CTO and internal teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.

Job requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent
  • You have 3 years of work experience in fast-paced environments, start-up, scale-up or business consulting
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
